WHY learn Basic Life Support?

Because it takes just 4 minutes for a blocked airway to become fatal.

A trained first aid/CPR care provider can do quick assessment to check if victim is unconscious with breathing or without breathing. A life can be saved with just a little effort of lifting his head to open his blocked airway which if left unattended can take his/her life.

A small act of kindness can save someone’e life. And you never know one day you may need to offer care to your loved ones!

First Aid to Save a Life is proud to offer hands-on skills session to teach lifesaving skills to save lives. Our Basic Life Support (BLS) Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, provide early use of an AED and clear foreign body obstruction (choking) from the airway.

FATSAL is pleased to announce Basic Life Support in Karachi on December 28 to raise awareness about cardiac emergencies and train people in CPR and anti-choking skills and build more resilient communities. Our objective is to prepare early and Save Lives.

In our hands-on approach, students participate in scenarios and learning stations.

Features
• Reflects science and education from the 2017 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC .
• Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency.
• Emphasis on high-quality CPR including a team dynamics classroom activity.
Video-based course with real world scenarios.

Course Content
• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• Chain of Survival
• Use of an AED
• Effective ventilations using a barrier device
• Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
• Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults, children and infants.

We have limited seats to maintain the quality of training so don’t wait for last day. The fee includes refreshment, quick card and certification.

Workshop Fee: = 1500/- PKR per person                        Last Date: Dec 21, 2019
Late Fee: =1750/- PKR per person

These workshops are open for ages 15 & over. Pre registration is must. The participants would be limited and the best equipment to student ratio to be maintained to ensure quality learning.

These workshops are must do for all. These are great for parents as 82% of parents would not know what to do if their children choked, burned themselves or collapsed. More than 70% of cardiac emergencies occur at home. Its high time to get trained, become a lifesaver and save lives.

MEDIC First Aid International (USA) Course: The course fee is =13,500/- PKR per person inclusive of course book, quick wallet card, MEDIC First Aid certification, refreshments and lunch.

This training program is designed specifically for the layman to learn first aid care which exceeds local and industry requirements. This course is based on the current guidelines for CPR and First Aid.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to understand and perform:

  • Role of the first aid care provider
  • Care for conscious and unconscious choking victims – practical of anti-choking practices
  • Perform CPR – hands-on session
  • Recovery position – practical exercise
  • Use of AED – practical by participants
  • Give first aid for a variety of injuries, such as burn, fracture, eye injury, bleeding control, head, neck & back injuries, and heat & cold-related emergencies. There are variety of scenarios for hands-on practice.
  • Manage sudden illnesses, heart attack, stroke, seizure, bites, poisoning, diabetics and many other topics.

This course will help students gain the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency using CPR and first aid until more advanced help is available. These workshops are open for ages 15 & over. Pre registration is must. The participants would be limited and the best equipment to student ratio to be maintained to ensure quality learning.

These workshops are must do for all. These are great for parents as 82% of parents would not know what to do if their children choked, burned themselves or collapsed. More than 70% of cardiac emergencies occur at home. Its high time to get trained, become a lifesaver and save lives.

Save Lives with First Aid & CPR/AED | Dec 29 | Karachi

First Aid to Save a Life (FATSAL) is pleased to announce 1-day “CPR, AED & First Aid” hands-on training in Karachi on December 29, 2019.

National Course: The course fee is =4,000/- PKR per person inclusive of course notes, certification, refreshments & lunch.

MEDIC First Aid International (USA) Course: The course fee is =13,500/- PKR per person inclusive of course book, quick wallet card, MEDIC First Aid certification, refreshments and lunch.

When: 8:30 am – 05:30 pm

This training program is designed specifically for the first aid care provider and exceeds local and industry requirements. This course is based on the current guidelines for CPR and First Aid.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to understand and perform:

  • Role of the first aid care provider
  • Care for conscious and unconscious choking victims – practical of anti-choking practices
  • Perform CPR – hands-on session
  • Recovery position – practical exercise
  • Use of AED – practical by participants
  • Give first aid for a variety of injuries, such as burn, fracture, eye injury, bleeding control, head, neck & back injuries, and heat & cold-related emergencies. There are variety of scenarios for hands-on practice.
  • Manage sudden illnesses, heart attack, stroke, seizure, bites, poisoning, diabetics and many other topics.

This course will help students gain the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency using CPR and first aid until more advanced help is available.
