In a recent survey from the British Heart Foundation, they found that 1 in 3 adults would not know how to help someone if they were unconscious and not breathing. 96% of them would call an ambulance, but the vast majority would not have a clue how to help whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
Every minute without CPR reduces survival by 10%. Moreover, 9 out of 10 victims when brought to the hospital were already dead. More than 70% of Cardiac Arrests incidents occur in the home and around 30% of those events are witnessed by the family members. Effective CPR and early defibrillation is likely to save your loved ones life. So they are depending on YOU!
