Pakistan Lifesaver Program: BLS and Bleeding Control Workshops

Our hands, an ultimate tool, can do so many things, one of the most important use could be to perform lifesaving interventions in the form of CPR and put a stop to bleed. Join our hands-on training based on latest guidelines and focusing on learning by doing.

Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. Over 5 million people die annually in the world because of unintentional injuries. As many as 22% of those lives can be saved by putting a stop to the bleed. It is important that as many people as possible survive their injuries if they sustain trauma.  The greater the number of people who know how to control bleeding in an injured patient, the greater the chances of surviving that injury.

The rate of survival of out of hospital sudden cardiac arrest (OHCA) was 0% after 2 months of hospital discharge in Karachi. Performing BLS skills correctly in the field can make all the difference to your team and your community. By ensuring scene safety and treatment protocols are being adhered to, you can not only help protect your teams, but deliver the care your community needs – when they need it most. A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any age, anytime, anywhere. So are you prepared to save a life?
